Frequently asked questions
What is the show for town festivals like?
A magic, humour and improvisation show for family audiences: highly visual, dynamic and participatory. The performance combines effects using props designed to be seen from a distance, music that heightens the different moments of the show, and audience participation.
What audience and capacity is it designed for?
It is designed for family audiences and works both for small groups and for town squares with hundreds of people. We adjust the pace, the participation and the visual elements to the size of the audience and to the space.
How long is it?
It usually runs about 60' for Magia En Estado Puro or 75' for Magic Exists, though we can adapt it if needed.
What do we need to provide?
We need a stage or a space visible to the whole audience, with quick access. Sound equipment is also required. (We can work with the organiser's own or bring ours.) We recommend seating the audience whenever possible.
Can it be performed outdoors?
Yes. The show can be performed outdoors as long as the space offers good visibility and suitable conditions for the show. It is especially important to take care with the orientation of the stage and with direct sunlight.
Can it be booked through Programa.cat?
Yes. Both Magic Exists and Magia en Estado Puro are included in Programa.cat, so member organisations can book either show through the programme.
What languages can it be performed in?
The shows can be performed in Spanish and Catalan, adapting the language to the audience and to each event's programme.
How much setup time is needed?
Setup takes about 60 minutes and takedown around 30 minutes. These times may vary slightly depending on the space and the technical conditions of the event.
